Till Lindemann is no longer under investigation.
The Berlin public prosecutor's office initiated an investigation after several charges were brought against the Rammstein singer.
The allegations could not be proven and the investigation was closed.
Till Lindemann has one less thing to worry about. The Berlin public prosecutor's office will not continue the investigation against him.
According to "Blick", this was announced by his lawyers in a letter. The investigation has been closed "due to a lack of sufficient suspicion". It had previously become known that several people in Berlin had filed charges against Lindemann. However, the complaints had not come from alleged victims, but from third parties.
"As the complainants are not alleged victims of Till Lindemann, they are not entitled to appeal against the discontinuation of proceedings," Lindemann's lawyers wrote. This means that the investigations into these cases will not be resumed.
Till Lindemann was accused of official offenses
The public prosecutor's office investigated sexual assault, sexual coercion and rape, among other things. These are official offenses, which is why the public prosecutor's office had to investigate.
Lindemann's legal team also reports that "so far, there is no objective evidence that our client committed the crime".
Lindemann had previously been accused of sexualized violence in the German media by several women, mostly anonymously. The Rammstein singer is said to have operated a system to have sex with young women backstage at his concerts. There was also talk of the use of knockout drops. Lindemann has always denied these allegations through his lawyers.
