"Totally embarrassed as the whole restaurant sings 'Happy Birthday' to him ... But we all think it's really funny," the singer's wife writes on the matter.
In the video, an embarrassed Robbie Williams can be seen sitting in front of his birthday cake with his head down, while the guests on the restaurant terrace sing "Happy Birthday".
After a few seconds, the singer lifts his head and smiles with a mock pained smile before saying in Swiss German: "Dankeschön ... have a nice day ... Thank you, thank you."
A moment later, he makes a sign that people should please stop their performance now.
