  • "I'm back", the 42-year-old singer now reports back to her fans in an Instagram video.

Last winter did not start well for Sarah Connor.

During the family ski vacation last December, the singer suffered a skiing accident on the slopes with serious consequences. But now the 42-year-old has returned to her fan base with an Instagram video.

"You Hasis, I've missed you," Connor writes. "My year started quite unexpectedly. I had an 'unhappy triad' (an unfortunate triple knee injury) and had to learn to walk again and teach my knee all over again."

Sarah Connor: "Big mental challenge"

Specifically, the accident on the slopes resulted in a torn cruciate ligament, a torn medial collateral ligament and a damaged meniscus. Pain, rest and rehab were the order of the day. Sarah Connor posted her first photo after her injury in January 2023.

The singer then took a month-long break from social media. This time was a "huge mental challenge".

It was only thanks to the help of her doctors and physiotherapists and her own iron will that she managed to get back on her feet so quickly, Connor continued. "Now I'm back and you can see: my feet and my legs are working and I can do everything again and my knee is good again."

This is the best news of the year for the singer's fans. Because her big tour of Germany is due to start in mid-May. "I'm a bit emotional right now and just wanted to share with you how much I'm looking forward to this year," Sarah Connor said on Instagram.
