No time? blue News summarizes for you
- An Instagram video shows DJ Khaled being carried on his shoulders by two bodyguards before a performance.
- Allegedly, the 48-year-old wanted to protect his brand new Air Jordan sneakers.
- The US musician's "bodyguard appearance" has not gone down well with all his fans.
Under no circumstances does he want his new shoes to get dirty. At least that's what the latest video on DJ Khaled 's Instagram account would have you believe.
In the video, the 48-year-old US musician is carried around by two bodyguards before a gig in Miami.
As soon as the back door of Khaled's luxurious limousine is open, the 48-year-old says kindly but firmly: "I don't want my Jordans to get dirty. Can someone please help me?"
DJ Khaled: "Thank you, brothers, I really appreciate it"
Seconds later, two bodyguards are already standing next to the musician, carrying him from the back of his car to a truck that is supposed to take the DJ to the stage.
While the two men carry Khaled on their shoulders, he says politely: "Thank you, brothers, I really appreciate it."
Once on the back of the truck, DJ Khaled once again stretches his much-loved black Air Jordans into the camera and explains that he will be performing live on South Beach today.
The musician then makes two or three funny movements before shouting "Nice" out loud.
DJ Khaled loves expensive accessories
After a short ride in the truck to the beach, Khaled is carried around a second time by two bodyguards - this time from the truck to the stage. He then launches into his performance with sparkling clean Air Jordans and his hit "All I Do Is Win".
However, DJ Khaled's Instagram video is not only well received by his followers.
"Get off your fucking high horse," commented one fan. "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen", noted a second follower. The musician is also advised to buy the right shoes before his performances in future.
It's not the first time that DJ Khaled has shown off what he's got loudly and ostentatiously. In 2018, he gave his then three-year-old son a gold Rolex worth over 30,000 Swiss francs.
The musician himself also likes to wear extremely expensive accessories to the show: two years ago, he presented his watch, which is said to be worth a whopping 2.7 million Swiss francs.
