The singer posed with dancers from her tour team and the filmmakers in front of a cinema complex in a luxury shopping center that had been specially reserved for the event on Wednesday.
Swift, in an off-the-shoulder evening dress, was seen in photos with her "Swifties" - as her fans call themselves. The 33-year-old singer was celebrated enthusiastically by the moviegoers.
Shortly before the premiere, she announced on social media that the film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" would now be released in North America on Thursday, one day earlier than planned, due to popular demand.
Pre-sales brought in 100 million
From Friday, the film can be seen in 90 countries worldwide, Swift wrote on the X platform (formerly Twitter). She thanked the fans who were eager to see the movie. The Eras Tour is her "favorite adventure" ever.
The hype surrounding Taylor Swift is paying off at the box office. Last week, over 100 million dollars had already been collected in advance sales, as the world's largest cinema chain AMC announced. Swift announced the film at the end of August.
The singer has been on tour around the world since March. The European leg is set to begin in Paris in May 2024. She also wants to perform on stage in Zurich next July.
