Soul, jazz or indie pop? The "Sing It Your Way" final presents the jury of Stress, Leduc from Lo & Leduc and Naomi Lareine with a difficult decision. But in the end, the case is clear.

The winner of the second season of "Sing It Your Way" is Alice Paroissien. The Frenchwoman, who lives in Bern, enchanted the jury in the final with her own song "La Sirène" - a touching ballad about a mermaid who beguiles a man with her singing.

Coaches Stress, Naomi Lareine and Leduc including Lo (who supports his stage partner as a judge in the final) are so enchanted by the performance that hardly a word is spoken during the entire performance.

"You took me into a dream world, I was completely with you the whole time," enthuses Naomi Lareine after the performance. "The vibe was right from the very first second", praised Lo & Leduc - and even the otherwise strict coach Stress was completely impressed by his protégé: "That was brilliant, you should be very proud of yourself!"

Victory with an announcement for Stress

The rapper from Lausanne should also be a little proud of himself. After all, he had already announced in his "SIYW" episode that he was determined to win the final.

No sooner said than done - with Alice Paroissien, Stress puts his words into action and ensures that the petite singer with the big voice collects the prize money of 10,000 francs and is allowed to produce a video clip in the high-tech studio "blue Space".

In the end, the victory is a clear-cut affair. Not just because of her voice - the charming singer's stage presence and appearance are also absolutely commanding.

Paroissien's sound, somewhere between dream pop and lounge jazz, also impresses with a certain degree of originality - which is important in this day and age. "You trigger emotions in the audience, that's something valuable," says R&B star Naomi Larein.

No tears for the competition

And the other two final acts? Rhea König makes the walls in the famous Powerplay studio tremble with her power-soul number and ensures a thrilling exchange of energy between the band and the jury. Stress and Naomi Lareine confirm to the Basel singer what her team coach Luc "Leduc" Oggier already attested to in the episode - namely that she is ready for the big stages in this country with her presence and voice.

Rhea König is therefore not at all sad that she didn't win. Especially as she is genuinely pleased that a woman has won this time with Alice Paroissien: "Big up!"

A new microphone for live gigs

Finally, Sivilian has the misfortune of having to compete in the final with a cold. Despite this, his soulful indie pop convinced the jury, and Lorenz "Lo" Häberli in particular saw a lot of depth and enormous potential in the singer/songwriter. "You're a real diamond in the rough - now you just have to polish, polish, polish", Stress sums it up.

The question remains as to what the winner will do with the prize money. She will pay her musicians, says the beaming Alice Paroissien, record songs with "a great producer" and - just like a professional - "I'll buy myself a super mic for live performances".
