One evening with Taylor Swift, another with Boris Becker: even after his time as Liverpool coach, Jürgen Klopp never gets bored. He now shares his experiences on Instagram. Much to the delight of his fans.

No time? blue News summarizes for you

  • An evening at a Taylor Swift concert, another with former tennis star Boris Becker: even after his time as Liverpool coach, Jürgen Klopp is clearly not bored.
  • The 57-year-old now shares his experiences on Instagram, where he recently opened an account.
  • He registered on Instagram a month ago and has over 4.1 million followers after just 21 posts.

Becoming an influencer at the age of almost 57 - Liverpool's former successful coach Jürgen Klopp can do that too.

He registered on Instagram a month ago and has over 4.1 million followers after just 21 posts. Klopp is unemployed at his own request, but his fans can see that his life is anything but boring.

One evening with Taylor Swift, another with Boris Becker.

For Klopp, after 491 football matches as coach of Liverpool FC, it is everyday life that he has been enjoying to the full since his departure. "Three legends and me! It was great to spend time with old friends," Klopp wrote under a photo.

Jürgen Klopp is a huge fan of Boris Becker

The photo showed him alongside tennis icon Becker, fellow coach and best man David Wagner and advisor Marc Kosicke. Klopp celebrated his 57th birthday on Sunday.

Klopp already has a special relationship with Becker. The two met nine years ago at Wimbledon, with his wife Ulla organizing the meeting.

"I followed his entire career and was a huge fan. We then spent a sensational evening at Wimbledon - we were on the same wavelength and had a lot of fun," Klopp told Bild.

They stayed in touch, even when Boris Becker had to endure what was probably the hardest time of his life. When the three-time Wimbledon winner in 2022 was sent to prison in England for bankruptcy offenses, Klopp called and encouraged him.

Klopp is now also a Swiftie

Last week, Jürgen Klopp returned to Anfield Road for the first time since his departure. However, it was not his former team that played at Liverpool FC's legendary stadium, but Taylor Swift.

"I think I'm officially a Swiftie now," Klopp admitted after the concert. A pink cowboy hat on his head.

Klopp had gone to the hairdresser beforehand and then attended the concert with his wife Ulla. A photo of the couple showed that Ulla wore the pink hat during the concert, which was the 100th of the Eras tour, while Klopp preferred a black baseball cap.

It doesn't work without football

Of course, you can't do it without football. First Jürgen Klopp called in from a Munich beer garden last Friday, then he went to the Allianz Arena himself to watch the opening game of the European Championship between Germany and Scotland.

The Swabian always keeps an eye on developments at his former club Borussia Dortmund. Nuri Sahin had been installed there as his eighth successor - and had received Klopp's blessing. "At 35, Nuri is a very young coach, but so was I. I have every confidence that he will also become a super coach after his outstanding career as a player," he told Bild am Sonntag.

And the future?

Jürgen Klopp is keeping a low profile when it comes to his own future. Which was to be expected after his years at Liverpool. Most recently, there had been rumors of an engagement with Red Bull.

The group has just sold shares in Leeds United. However, Klopp becoming coach there is as likely as an English summer without rain.

What is certain is that Klopp's path will soon lead him to Mallorca. He owns a finca there - and combines pleasure with economic obligations.

A sponsor is raffling off a private TV evening with Klopp, and you can watch a European Championship quarter-final with him on July 6. Theoretically, a match with German participation would even be possible, but the DFB team would have to finish second in Group A and win their round of 16 match.
