"Richard, we love you!": Even at 75, Richard Gere still makes women scream. The US actor took plenty of time for his fans on the green carpet of the Zurich Film Festival on Tuesday.

Although it started to pour just in time for Gere's appearance at Bellevue, hundreds of fans - many of them male - gave him a warm welcome. The "Pretty Woman" actor shook hands, signed autographs and wiped the rain from his hair.
There were also numerous Tibetans in the crowd who appreciate Gere for his many years of commitment to their people. Gere did not bring a romantic comedy with him, as he did in the earlier years of his career, but the Dalai Lama documentary "Wisdom of Paradise". It had its world premiere that evening in Zurich. Gere is one of the producers.
"More relaxed than before"
He hadn't even seen the finished version with an audience yet, he said in the interview. It was only finished a few days ago. "I'm looking forward to seeing how the Tibetan community receives the film. A lot of it will probably be very emotional for them."
The 75-year-old described his approach to the film business as "more relaxed than before". His wife Alejandra (41) doesn't quite agree, as she told the media. He had worked very hard for this movie. He asked her for her opinion in the middle of the night.
