Chiara Tamburlini also proves her strength in Holzhäusern. The St. Gallen native takes 10th place at the Swiss Ladies Open.

Tamburlini is in her first season as a professional on the major European tour. In April, the 24-year-old won the Joburg Ladies Open in South Africa. In the weeks leading up to the home tournament, Tamburlini was a little off the pace. However, a one-week break did her "a lot of good, both physically and mentally", said the player from eastern Switzerland, who was only four shots behind the leaders in eighth place after two days. "The last round didn't go quite as I had hoped. But all in all, I'm satisfied."

With Kim Métraux (27th place), who finished in the top 3 at the Swiss Ladies Open 2020 and 2021, and amateur Romaine Masserey (51st), two other Swiss women finished in the prize money ranks.

Victory at the 300,000 euro tournament in the canton of Zug went to Alice Hewson. The 26-year-old Englishwoman beat India's Tvesa Malik in the jump-off and took home a cheque for 45,000 euros.
