At the end of the preliminary round, Romania, Belgium, Slovakia, Turkey and Georgia were the last teams to qualify for the round of 16, which begins on Saturday with Switzerland-Italy.
The first knockout round already features one or two high-caliber duels on paper. Belgium, who only qualified as group runners-up, will play France. Germany will face Denmark.
