As in Tokyo, Jason Joseph also fails to reach the Olympic final in Paris in the 110 m hurdles. The 25-year-old from Basel only finished 6th in his semi-final and was eliminated.
After a slow start, Joseph was unable to improve. With a time of 13.43 seconds, the European bronze medallist from Rome was not only well above his personal best (13.08), but also above the time with which he had won his preliminary heat. That 13.26 would have been enough to qualify for the final.
