Stefan Küng celebrates his third win of the season in western France. As in 2021 and 2022, the 30-year-old from Thurgau wins the Chrono des Nations time trial in Les Herbiers, which is part of the Tour of Europe.
Küng, who won the Swiss time trial title in June and won a stage of the Vuelta in September, won the 45 km race in the west of France, which was not a top-class race, four seconds ahead of the Australian Jay Vine and five seconds ahead of the Dane Johan Price-Pejtersen.
Stefan Bissegger finished third in the same race in 2023.
