Sport climber Sascha Lehmann clearly misses out on participation in the final with the best eight in the boulder and lead competition. He finished the semi-final in 17th place.

In the second part of the competition, Lead, also known as lead climbing, Lehmann fell short of expectations, as he did in Boulder. The 26-year-old from Bern also failed early in his preferred discipline.
At the start of the qualification, Lehmann, whose father Markus competed in artistic gymnastics at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, only managed 16th place in the field of 20 athletes.
