Pole vaulter Angelica Moser narrowly misses out on a medal in Paris. The 26-year-old from Zurich cleared a height of 4.80 meters and finished in a thankless 4th place.
Moser jumped all heights up to 4.80 m in her first attempt. At 4.85 m she broke the bar twice before going to 4.90 meters. But she did not clear this height either. Moser therefore missed out on Switzerland's first Olympic medal in athletics since 1988.
