Servette win 3-0 in Geneva against an appallingly harmless Sion and can look to the future. An early goal in each half was enough for an easy victory.
The ultras from Valais boycotted the Rhône derby, while their Geneva colleagues showed solidarity for a half. Neither of them missed much, and the FC Sion fans can even count themselves lucky not to have seen their favorites' pale performance live.
Enzo Crivelli gave Servette the lead as early as the 5th minute, which was already half the battle given the now worrying harmlessness of the Valais attacking department. Sion have scored just three meagre goals in their last six games.
Four minutes after the break, Dereck Kutesa, who had been annoyed in the media in recent days that Murat Yakin had not called him up for the national team, increased his tally. He now leads the scoring charts with six goals for the season. Gaël Ondouas was then merely a cosmetic finish.
Servette are now one point behind leaders Zurich, while Sion are still riding high from their brilliant start to the season, but have not won in the Super League since August 10.
