The team led by superstar LeBron James marched through the group stage with three commanding victories and outclassed Brazil 122:87.
The Americans led by 12 points after the first quarter and by 27 points at half-time. The best scorer for the "Dream Team 2.0" was Devin Booker with 18 points. James, who also played a moderate amount of time, recorded 12 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds.
The USA's next opponent will be Serbia in the semi-final on Thursday. The 2023 World Cup runners-up overcame a 26-point deficit against Australia to win 95:90 after overtime.
The second semi-final will be contested by Germany and France. The German world champions led by Dennis Schröder beat Greece with Giannis Antetokounmpo 76:63, while the French beat Canada 82:73.
