A weak Winterthur lose 0:2 at Lausanne-Sport and are now at the bottom of the table.
Weakest defense (Lausanne) against worst offense (Winterthur): In this constellation, it was the Vaud side who were better able to conceal their weakness. The course of the game played into the hands of Ludovic Magnin's team.
Alvyn Sanches (8') and Alban Ajdini gave Lausanne a 2:0 lead in the first 23 minutes. Winterthur were unable to respond. Coach Ognjen Zaric's team were frighteningly harmless and lacked any real revival, and even two changes after just 30 minutes failed to produce a significant upturn in fortunes.
The victory against GC before the national team break was therefore not a turnaround for the better for last year's surprise team. Six goals from the first ten games of the season is far too meagre a haul. One point behind GC and two behind YB, Winterthur now occupy last place, while Lausanne have moved up to 9th place.
