The IT breakdown occurred at around 10.00 am. The reason given by SBB was work on telecommunications software. As a result of the IT disruption, SBB's customer information was severely restricted. Train services were also partially affected. Safety-relevant systems were not affected by the disruption, according to the statement. Security was guaranteed at all times.
