Industry Arbonia sells site in Arbon to HRS for 34 million Swiss francs

Arbonia AG is pressing ahead with its focus on the door business. For this reason, a site in Arbon measuring around 35,000 square meters and classified as non-essential was sold.

The buyer is a company of the Swiss real estate service provider HRS, the building supplier announced on Thursday. The purchase price for the "Zelgstrasse" site is reportedly more than CHF 34 million.

The sale will lead to a positive EBITDA contribution of around 28 million Swiss francs and will also have a positive effect on the net result after deduction of taxes. This will be reported in the 2024 half-year results. The notarization took place on June 19, 2024, Arbonia added.
