The search for a successor is underway, the company announced on Monday. Furtwaengler is taking early retirement "with great anticipation and a great deal of energy, albeit with some melancholy", according to the press release, quoting the boss, who has been with the company for 28 years.

According to the statement, Furtwaengler was largely responsible for the expansion of Wander beyond "Ovi". With brands such as "Caotina", "Twinings" and "Isostar", he also launched products such as muesli, bars and spreads onto the market over the years.

It is still unclear who will succeed Arnold Furtwaengler in January 2025. However, the company is confident that it will soon be able to appoint a successor.
