Government elections BS Basel SP decides on electoral alliance with the Greens and Basta

At its delegates' meeting on Wednesday evening, the Basel SP sealed the left-wing government council election alliance with the Greens and Basta. The SP announced that the parties of the left-wing spectrum want to win back the left-green majority in the executive that they lost four years ago.

The joint election proposal from the SP, Basta and the Greens includes the three Social Democratic members of the cantonal government Mustafa Atici, Tanja Soland and Kaspar Sutter, as well as Basta candidate Oliver Bolliger and Anina Ineichen from the Greens, who is also running for the presidency of the cantonal government.
