Traffic accident E-bike rider crashes into a car while riding downhill in Balsthal SO

An e-bike rider collided with a car on a mountain road near Balsthal SO on Tuesday evening and was injured. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, as reported by the Solothurn cantonal police on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old was riding his e-bike downhill from Brunnersberg to Balsthal when a 42-year-old in a car came towards him. A collision then occurred around a bend, according to the police.

Both vehicles were removed by a towing company. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
