The accident occurred shortly after 2.30 p.m. on the out-of-town stretch between Klingnau and Koblenz, as reported by the Aargau cantonal police on Sunday. A 60-year-old German man and his passenger were driving in the direction of Koblenz. For reasons as yet unknown, the vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming car. There were three people in the car, one of whom was the child, according to the report.
All of them were injured and taken to hospital. The damage to the two vehicles, which were totaled, amounts to several tens of thousands of francs.
