At least six people have been killed by a Russian airstrike on a hospital in the Ukrainian city of Sumy, according to official reports. According to the report, the town in north-eastern Ukraine was attacked at night by Russian combat drones.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko spoke on Telegram of a double strike: after the first hit, there was a second attack on rescue workers who were trying to bring patients to safety. This account could not be independently verified, but the Russian tactic of double strikes on a target is well known. Such attacks by the Russian army on rescue workers have also been observed in Syria.

The Ukrainian air force announced that the Russian army had used 73 combat drones and 4 missiles against Ukraine on Saturday night. 69 drones and 2 missiles were intercepted. Ukraine has been fending off a large-scale Russian invasion for over two and a half years.
