Even after Israel confirmed the killing of Hamas leader Jihia al-Sinwar, the fighting in the Gaza Strip and with Hezbollah in Lebanon continued unabated.

In northern Israel, sirens were once again wailing in several places. According to the Israeli military, the Shia militia Hezbollah, which is allied with Hamas, fired at least 15 rockets from Lebanon into Israel. There was initially no information about casualties or major damage.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army said it was continuing to take action against terrorist infrastructure and gunmen in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Over the course of the past day, the air force has attacked around 150 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, according to reports. The military's claims could not initially be independently verified.

Sinwar was the mastermind behind the massacre by Hamas and other extremists from the Gaza Strip in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, in which around 1,200 people were killed and 250 displaced to the coastal strip. This brutal attack triggered the war in the Middle East.
