Politics Hamas fires rocket at Israel

For the first time since the end of May, the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas has fired rockets at central Israel again.

A projectile from the Gaza Strip fell into the Mediterranean in the center of the country, the army announced. The military arm of Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack with two rockets, which was aimed at Tel Aviv and the suburbs of the coastal metropolis. A second missile was identified but did not enter Israeli territory, the army said.
