Judge Hadas Jahalom has issued an injunction to this effect, Israeli media reported unanimously. She explained that it was a "political strike".
Following the discovery of the bodies of six hostages in the Gaza Strip, a major protest strike began in Israel. The trade union umbrella organization announced on Sunday that it wanted to bring the country to a standstill for a day.
The aim is to increase the pressure on Netanyahu to agree to a deal for the release of the remaining hostages. On Sunday, hundreds of thousands had already demanded an immediate agreement with the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas in the largest mass protests since the beginning of the Gaza war almost eleven months ago.
According to media reports, there were disruptions and delays to air traffic at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv.
