The Israeli air force continues to attack targets in Lebanon, including once again south of the capital Beirut. In the village of Chuaifat, about 15 minutes by car from the airport, there was a loud bang and clouds of smoke over the area, according to residents, as reported by the state news agency NNA.

Israel's military also continued its attacks in several places in the south, center and northeast of the country, including near the coastal city of Tyre and with heavy attacks in the town of Nabatiyeh.

There alone, 22 people were killed and 47 injured within 24 hours. Over the course of the day, the Ministry of Health counted a total of 55 dead and more than 150 injured.

In some cases, the military attacked nearby schools and hospitals as well as a new civil defense facility in the south. Its rescue workers pulled bodies from the rubble at the sites of the attacks, took injured people to hospitals and extinguished several fires.
