In Belarus, ruler Alexander Lukashenko has reported the suspected shooting down of several Ukrainian air targets. The air defense had been put on full alert because around ten flying objects from Ukraine had entered the airspace of Belarus (formerly Belarus) in the east of the country in the Kostyukovichy region, Lukashenko said on Saturday about the incident the previous evening. "The Armed Forces of Ukraine violated all rules of conduct and violated the airspace of the Republic of Belarus," Lukashenko said, according to state media.

"We suspect that it was combat drones," Lukashenko said. Aircraft and a helicopter were also deployed on the ground in addition to air defense. The information could not be independently verified.

The ruler, who is regarded as Europe's last dictator, is one of the most important supporters of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. At the beginning of the war almost two and a half years ago, Lukashenko also allowed Russian troops in southern Belarus to invade northern Ukraine.
