The Lebanese army is neutral in the conflict between the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia and the Israeli military. It is not the declared enemy of Israel, which according to its own statements is taking action against Hezbollah. Nevertheless, there have already been repeated incidents with the Lebanese army in which soldiers have been killed.
