Old-age provision Voting booklet and message on women's retirement age incorrect

The figures in the Federal Council's message and in the voting booklet on raising the women's retirement age were incorrect. This was announced by the Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO) on Friday.

The FSIO had used the incorrect calculation formulas in its AHV program for the Federal Council's message to Parliament in 2019 and in the voting booklet on the AHV reform in 2022. The FSIO thus confirmed a report by the SRF program "Rendez-vous" to the Keystone-SDA news agency.

The Federal Office does not know when these were used. Whether past votes were affected by the incorrect formulas is the subject of the administrative investigation and "possibly" legal clarifications, it said.
