Numerous police officers are deployed in Munich city center near the Nazi Documentation Center and the Israeli Consulate General. The police have called on people to avoid the area.

The area around Briennerstrasse and Karolinenplatz was affected. Traffic barriers have been set up there. A police spokeswoman was initially unable to confirm reports of shots fired on social networks.
