Accident at work Man dies in an accident during forestry work in Turbenthal ZH

A 72-year-old man was killed in a forestry work accident in Turbenthal ZH on Thursday. He was hit by a tree and slipped down the steep slope.

As reported by the Zurich cantonal police on Friday, the victim was found lifeless by his wife in the evening. Because the terrain was impassable, he had to be rescued with the help of a cable winch.

In addition to the Zurich cantonal police, Rega and the Turbenthal Wila Wildberg fire department were also deployed.
