According to an estimate by its CEO, Migros will earn slightly more operationally this year than in the previous year. According to the Handelszeitung newspaper, Group CEO Mario Irminger announced the corresponding figures at an event organized by the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute.

According to Irminger, Migros will post an operating profit (EBIT) of CHF 790 million in the current year. That would be CHF 4 million more than in 2023, when the Group reported EBIT of CHF 786 million - albeit excluding value adjustments of around CHF 400 million.

The difference in turnover is likely to be somewhat greater. According to the estimates, this will increase by half a billion to 32.5 billion francs. A spokeswoman confirmed the information in the Handelszeitung at the request of AWP. However, the figures could still change by the end of the year. The final result will then be relevant.
