Crime Pair of thieves hide loot in baby carriage in Zug

After shoplifting in Zug, a couple hid the goods in a baby carriage. The police arrested the 18-year-old woman and the 21-year-old man from Romania.

The couple were out and about with their toddler in Zug city center on Thursday afternoon. In a store, they stole perfumes worth 700 francs and stowed the loot in the baby carriage, as the Zug law enforcement authorities reported on Friday.

According to the statement, the store staff alerted the Zug police, who were able to arrest the couple in the vicinity of the store. During questioning, the woman and the man admitted to the theft, according to the statement.
