Shortly before 7.30 p.m., an altercation occurred between a car driver and a cyclist at the red light on Frauenfelderstrasse, near the Seenerstrasse junction in Winterthur. This was reported by the Zurich cantonal police in a press release.

The cyclist fell to the ground and the driver of the car set his vehicle in motion, seriously injuring the man lying on the ground. The car then drove off towards the city on Frauenfelderstrasse with its tires spinning, without paying any attention to the injured man.
