A 44-year-old e-bike rider was seriously injured in an accident in Uster ZH late on Friday evening. A rescue helicopter flew the cyclist to hospital, according to the police.

The e-bike rider fell along Pfäffikerstrasse in the direction of Uster for unknown reasons and sustained serious head injuries, the Zurich cantonal police reported on Saturday night. He was not wearing a bicycle helmet.
