Bern Music, Ferris wheel and culinary delights at the Thun City Festival

The 48th edition of the Thun Festival begins on Friday. The Thun town festival lasts three days and offers music, various other attractions and a wide range of food and drink stands.

The highlights of this year's program are the Bernese acts Halunke, Churchhill and Nils Burri, the Ticino rock musician Andrea Bignasca and the four singers from Mosaiq, according to a press release issued by Thunfest on Monday.

On Saturday afternoon, the Bern Children's Theatre will offer a children's program on Waisenhausplatz. The Ferris wheel, an "activity zone" and so-called "party zones" are also part of the programme again this year, the organizing committee added.

On Sunday, the ecumenical church service will take place on Rathausplatz.
