A fatal accident occurred at work in Curaglia GR on Friday afternoon. A 58-year-old plasterer climbed onto the scaffolding after his lunch break to carry out finishing work on a façade.
Shortly after 1 p.m., he fell from a height of over four meters onto the concrete floor. Work colleagues and other people present provided first aid. Resuscitation was continued by the Surselva Rescue Service and a Rega crew.
The seriously injured man died in the Graubünden cantonal hospital in the afternoon. The public prosecutor's office and the Graubünden cantonal police are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident at work.
