Vandalism Police arrest suspected sprayer in Lucerne

Lucerne police arrested a suspected sprayer in the city of Lucerne on Friday night. He is said to have applied 40 so-called "tags" to facades on Thursday alone.

Shortly after midnight, the police received a report that a person was applying lettering at the Schwanenplatz bus stop, as the Lucerne police announced on Friday. The police were able to stop the 38-year-old Swiss man a short time later.

The authorities have started an investigation. During a house search, spray-painting equipment, stickers and pens were seized.
