Sexual offense Alleged sex offender arrested in Landquart GR

A suspected sex offender was caught by the police in Landquart GR at the beginning of July. The 32-year-old Swiss man had arranged to have sex with a supposedly 13-year-old girl. On the spot, the girl turned out to be an investigator from the Zurich cantonal police.

The accused had chatted with the investigator in advance, as the Graubünden cantonal police announced on Sunday. The police officer had posed in the chat as a girl of child protection age.

The Graubünden cantonal police arrested the suspect following an investigation by their colleagues in Zurich. He has confessed.
