Incident Unknown object damages windshield on A2 near Basel

An object crashed into the windshield of a car on the A2 highway near the Baldegger underpass in Basel on Friday evening, causing considerable damage. According to the public prosecutor's office, it cannot be ruled out that someone threw the object onto the highway.

The 41-year-old driver and the 33-year-old passenger were not injured in the incident, as the Basel-Stadt public prosecutor's office wrote in a statement on Saturday. They drove on and later alerted the police.
