Accident Woman injured in bicycle collision with child in Bergell

A woman and a child collided with their bicycles in Bergell near Viscoprano GR on Friday morning. The 60-year-old woman suffered injuries and was taken to Samedan Hospital.

The accident occurred at Camping Mulina in Pungell, where the nine-year-old child entered the road on which the woman was riding with a group of cyclists, as reported by the Graubünden cantonal police on Saturday. Both people fell. Both of them were wearing a helmet.

The woman was treated by a rescue service and a local emergency doctor for suspected head injuries. According to the press release, the injuries turned out to be minor to moderate at the hospital. The child did not suffer any injuries. The cantonal police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
