These accusations are dramatic: the student council of the Kerzers FR orientation school made serious allegations against the school's teaching staff in an email. According to "Freiburger Nachrichten ", the teachers are said to have behaved in a racist and sexist manner towards the pupils.
Examples were given in the email, for example, female pupils with belly-free tops were allegedly called "slutty". One pupil was called "stupid" and a dark-skinned pupil was called "Schoggistängeli".
No progress on the part of the school
The email was sent to the management of the orientation school, the municipality, the media and other bodies. Despite several discussions with various parties, there has been no progress at all on the part of the school. "We don't feel that we are being taken seriously or supported," writes the student council.
When asked by "Freiburger Nachrichten", municipal councillor Urs Hecht explained that the school management knew nothing about these incidents. However, the first step forward for the pupils has now been taken, with the Directorate of Education and Cultural Affairs starting investigations.
