A female driver sustained minor injuries in a collision with a stone post in Kriens on Monday afternoon. The car was lifted by the collision and then tipped onto its roof.

The woman was taken to hospital by the ambulance service, as reported by Lucerne police on Tuesday. Property damage of 15,000 Swiss francs was caused.

Also on Monday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred on the A2 highway near Kriens, according to the report. For unknown reasons, a driver hit the left-hand shoulder, causing the car to veer into the right-hand lane. There it then crashed into another car. One person was injured and taken to hospital. Damage amounting to 20,000 Swiss francs was caused.
