Robbery Unknown perpetrator robs store in Oberbalm BE

According to the police, an unknown perpetrator robbed a store in Oberbalm BE in the early hours of Saturday evening and stole an unknown amount of cash. The store employee was not injured, as the cantonal police reported on Sunday.

The robbery was reported to the police at around 5 p.m. on Saturday. According to initial findings, an unknown person entered the store with a knife and asked the employee to open the till. The perpetrator then took cash from the till and fled.

As part of the investigation led by the Bern-Mittelland regional public prosecutor's office, the Bern cantonal police are looking for witnesses.
