Transaction turnover increased by 6 percent to 17.7 billion Swiss francs in the first half of 2024, the company announced on Friday. This increase was mainly due to debit cards and the Cumulus credit card.

Meanwhile, the card portfolio increased slightly. This was a good 1 percent higher at 4.3 million payment cards. Viseca launched new services for silver and gold credit cards, expanded the digital card application process and introduced "Click to Pay" for all credit and debit cards at the beginning of July.

The turnover generated by Viseca climbed slightly by around 2 percent to CHF 253.2 million. Service, commission and interest income increased, while costs fell slightly.

Overall, Viseca Holding posted a profit of 59.4 million francs, an increase of 6.6 percent. Viseca is confident for 2024. There should be "a good annual result".
