Albania will not be able to count on Mirlind Daku against Spain on Monday.
The striker, who came on as a late substitute against Croatia, made a verbal slip with a megaphone after that match, which UEFA punished with a two-match ban. Daku used sport to convey messages of a non-sporting nature. In doing so, he brought "football into disrepute", UEFA announced.
The Albanian association must also pay a fine of 25,000 euros "for spreading provocative messages that are not appropriate for a sporting event", the European association added. A further 22,500 euros will be added for other unspecified offenses.
