In addition to the 33-year-old from Atlético Madrid, three other returnees and two newcomers are among the 23 players called up for the games against Turkey (July 12 in Izmit) and Azerbaijan (July 16 in Lausanne).

Noelle Maritz (Aston Villa), Amira Arfaoui (1. FC Nürnberg) and Sydney Schertenleib (GC) are back, while Leila Wandeler (Olympique Lyon) and Caterina Regazzoni (Northwestern Wildcats/US-College) can hope to make their international debuts.

Switzerland need one more point in their two upcoming games to regain promotion to League A of the Nations League. As hosts, they have already qualified for the 2025 European Championship.
