EHC Biel wins in Bern 4:3 after overtime and celebrates its third win in a row. Toni Rajala scores the decisive goal.

It was a golden opportunity that presented itself to Biel at the start of overtime in Bern's Postfinance Arena. After tripping in the final seconds, SCB defenseman Romain Loeffel was given a 2-minute penalty. This meant that the Seelanders would be able to start overtime with one man more. And the Biel team did not miss the chance. Toni Rajala beat Adam Reideborn with a powerful shot and ensured a princely reward for the EHCB with the two points gained.

The Bernese had largely dominated the game throughout. No fewer than 46 shots flew at the goal of Biel goalie Harri Säteri. However, the Finn showed a strong performance and repeatedly made the SCB offense desperate. After trailing in the first period, Biel turned the game in their favor until the 27th minute. However, Bern's crowd favorite Tristan Scherwey equalized exactly at half-time.

After that, Jussi Tapola's team missed several top-class chances to take the lead again. Something that was to take its revenge in the end.
